The 16 October marks the 80th Anniversary of the first Luftwaffe raid on Britain in World War Two (1939-1945). RAF Squadron 603 was scrambled to intercept, piloting Spitfires for the first time. They would be invaluable during the Battle of Britain (1940). https://ift.tt/2Lwscdp
