The 8 October marks the 190th Anniversary of George Stephenson’s ‘Rocket’ winning the Rainhill Trials. It led to the Liverpool and Manchester Railway granting George and his son Robert Stephenson the contract to produce locomotives for the railway. https://ift.tt/2Q3veEK
