The 30 September marks the 70th Anniversary of the end of the Berlin Airlift. Between 26 June 1948 and 30 September 1949, up to 12,941 tons of supplies were flown into the city per day, to counteract a blockade by the USSR. https://ift.tt/2kBfEWV
